Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Lingomatia. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
The service
Lingomatia provides automated language analysis, vocabulary organization, and spaced-repetition practice. The app creates a private, pseudonymous service identifier automatically; no registration or Lingomatia sign-in is required. Generated explanations may contain errors and should not be treated as professional translation, academic, legal, medical, or other expert advice.
Your content and use
You are responsible for content you submit and for your use of the service. You retain rights in your content and grant Lingomatia the limited permission needed to process it and provide the service. Do not submit unlawful content, infringe others' rights, probe the service, evade limits, or interfere with other users.
Subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Prices and trial availability are shown before purchase and may vary by region. Deleting a Lingomatia profile does not cancel an App Store subscription, so billing continues until you cancel it through Apple.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service and may update these terms when the app or legal requirements change. We will post the effective date with the current terms. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Stopping use and deletion
You may stop using Lingomatia at any time. Delete Learning Data removes server and local learning records while preserving the private profile, app session, and subscription entitlement. Delete Lingomatia Profile removes the internal profile identifier, settings, submitted content, learning data, entitlement, and recovery credentials. We retain a keyed one-way AppTransaction deletion record to prevent silent cross-device recreation, and may retain limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records when required.
Nothing new is created until you explicitly choose Start Fresh. Start Fresh creates a new private profile and may securely associate an eligible active purchase using Apple-signed transaction information; deleted learning data is not restored. We may restrict access for material violations, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lingomatia is provided as available without implied warranties. Lingomatia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
